NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 20, 2012 – Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MSPD), the industry leader in technology for small cell base stations, and Bravo Tech Inc. (BTI), a worldwide provider of wireless coverage solutions and a pioneer in femtocell solutions, today announced that the companies will be showcasing a live time division synchronous code division multiple access (TD-SCDMA) femtocell demonstration at Mindspeed’s booth (N1.D63) at Mobile Asia Expo from June 20-22, 2012 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China.
The collaboration highlights BTI’s commercially-available TD-SCDMA /Wi-Fi access point, which features Mindspeed®’s ARM®-based PC202 system-on-chip (SoC). Representatives from each company will be on-hand to showcase commercial smartphones sending and receiving voice, video and data communications via a production-grade femto gateway in China Mobile’s 3G network. Mobile Asia Expo delegates visiting the Mindspeed booth can also use their own TD-SCDMA handsets to try out the BTI femtocell for voice calls and mobile web access.
